AI Agents and Autonomous Work
From AI assistants to coordinated AI workforces

A single assistant in a side panel cannot run an institution. Coordinated workers need identity, permissions, bounded tasks, and oversight.
Assistants are good at drafting. Institutions need work to be owned, permissioned, and checked. That is a different design.
A workforce of AI workers — operations, support, research, finance analysis — only makes sense if each worker is a first-class identity with a human owner and a scope it cannot enlarge.
Bounded tasks, not ambient authority
The useful unit of work is a task with an objective, a permission set, and a completion record. Continuous ambient agents that “just handle it” hide who acted and under which policy.
Sherivs does not promise unlimited autonomous execution. Where worker features exist in the product, they depend on configuration and remain untrusted by default.
